Calendar: booklet: Feedback: 1. The pink color can be used in the last page to highlight. 2. The over roll can above the speakers can have a heavier. 3.It is better to make the over roll line up with the portrait rather than the portrait line up with the headline.

Calendar: Feedback 1. The title going through in the middle does not work. It interrupts the calendar. Besides, it does not have the kind of consistency with the poster, the text could use "regular" instead to match the poster. 2. The color is a big issue. When i print it out, the pink is too strong that it is hard to read the text. 3. When it was print into large scale, the pattern on the left does not match the one on the poster.  4. Technical issue: use the paragraph style instead of organizing each text block each time.  Booklet: Feedback:  1. The intro page: The pattern on the right does not fit. It can be placed onto the lower-left corner. 2. It is better to get the consistency among each speaker page. 3. The doctrine font on the calendar does not show up on anywhere on the booklet (consistency). 4. Cover I use a smaller font size and ally the text in five column this time. Feedback: I can apply the kind of linear halftone effect on the cover as well. The Content Pages Feedback: 1. be careful about the details. For example, the title is better to be in title case. The calendars: 1. The titles on this piece just does not look good. It jams together with the "Oct".

I am not quiet sure about the content of each page.  The introduction page I have not adjust the image much. I am just trying to get a better layout at this stage. The key speaker page and the back cover Page for the the speakers

I still think the consistency between the calendar and the posters needed to be improved more. I seek to use the pattern on the page to have a better consistency between the poster and the calendar. I change the font size of the date and so i got more room on the page. I also avoid to use the color too much to achieve the hierarchy. I use the pink on the headline and the days below.  Using the pink to highlight the days that the event is in the morning.  Highlighting the Days the events happen on the weekend.

Working on a booklet is quiet different from working on a poster. I get used to consider the color as an important factor to the hierarchy on the page. But from what the tutor said, in this project, we should avoid using color to catch people's eyes. This time, we should reveal the hierarchy through the layout, the font size, font type and so on.  I change the font size and the column grid on the page (5 columns on this page). To remain the consistency of the whole booklet, I really need to do more test from now on.      The pages shown below are in 3 column grid.

The last calendar is not consistent with the posters in different aspects. Thus, i change the color, fonts, hierarchy of the calendar this time. Besides, after i watch other students' compositions, I realize the font size of the date numbers might be too big which occupy too many room on the page.

Feedback:  All in all, the main issue is the consistence between the post and the calendar. 1. To match the poster, the calendar is better to show horizontal dynamic rather than do it vertically. 2. The gap between each black should be reconsidered. 3. The over rule on the title is unnecessary or it can be placed under the intro rather than above.

We start to work on the booklet Feedback for the covers:  That is the first version that i print out. 1. The pattern needs to be bigger. The pattern looks smaller than the ones on the poster. Because when it is presented on a smaller scale media, it does not look the same. 2. The headline can be closer to the small text 3. the text at the bottle can ally with the one above. The second version: 1. The pattern is still not big enough. 2. The text is too close to the headline this time. Just as my tutor mentioned, the headline does not look good somehow, so this time, i use "Architecture Series" instead (just like i used in the posters).

I found it difficult to get consistent with the previous poster.

I correct the color of the previous poster. I remove the blue background and increase the value of pink. Feedback: 1. The "Nov"and the "Dec"need to be kerned.  2. The pink might still not work. 3. The font of the month be explored more. 4. I can try to use the "regular" font on the "Architecture Series" rather than bold. 5. I can highlight the whole sentence rather than just part of it.
